Police continue their search for silver Nissan Tiida in connection with the nation's latest murder.
On Wednesday morning, a 34 year old Sangre Grande woman was shot and killed.
The woman, who served time in prison for murder was on her way to visit a relative when she was met her demise.
At 730am Tricia Flemming was on her way to visit her grandmother's home on St. Joseph Street in Sangre Grande.
She'd just parked her black Toyota Corolla and as she was making her way to the house, she was gunned down and left for dead.
Residents who flocked to the scene after hearing loud explosions discovered the body in the middle of the street.
Witnesses report seeing a silver Nissan Tiida with no license plates speeding away from the scene just after the shots were heard.
Flemming who is known to the police was charged with murder in 2005 and only released from prison in 2011.
Detectives are yet to come up with a concrete motive for the killing but investigations are proceeding.
Anyone with information on the killing or information on the silver Tiida which was seen leaving the area just after the killing is asked to contact the nearest Police station.
