OWTU tells government to stop interfering
Saturday 6th February, 2010
The Oilfields Workers Trade Union says it’s time for the government to stop interfering in various state enterprises across the country.
This statement comes after the government announced that the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority will become the recognised union for the majority of workers in the country.
While the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority Bill was being laid in Parliament yesterday, the OWTU made a stand.
Mr. Roget said the OWTU will be mobilising the biggest campaign to put a stop to those who are trying to break up or decertify the Public Service Association.
