No decision on Opposition leadership

UNC Chairman, Jack Warner, says there's no decision yet on the Opposition Leader position.

He says he could not confirm reports that eight UNC MPs had pledged support to Mrs. Persad-Bissessar for the post.

He told C News that discussion will be held on the matter at an Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday afternoon at Rienzi Complex.

But he said, in the meantime, he hopes former UNC Political Leader, Basdeo Panday, will do the honourable thing and give up the Office of the Opposition Leader.
